Street photography is a passion that captures the essence of life’s fleeting moments. Sometimes, we stumble upon shots that are absolutely terrible, while other times we capture something truly remarkable. And then, there are those rare occasions when we manage to freeze a moment that becomes an all-time favorite.
One such capture holds a special place in my heart – a moment of tranquility amidst the bustling atmosphere of Nice, France. I chose to present this photograph in black and white, as it adds a timeless quality to the scene.
In the frame, you’ll find a lady enjoying a brief respite with her dog. It’s a small breath of relaxation amidst the chaos. As I observed her, I couldn’t help but admire the expressions on her face and body language. It was a perfect blend of classic and modern, as she listened to music through her headset.
Now, I must admit that I typically avoid capturing images of people smoking. However, in this particular instance, I made an exception. The allure of the moment was too captivating to resist, despite my personal stance against smoking. After all, a good photograph doesn’t rely on smoking to create impact. There are numerous other elements that can be utilized to achieve a similar effect, as seen in my other works.
